Christmas in Washington, part 1

Here are some picture from our trip to Washington.  There were so many pictures that I want to post that I am splitting the post in two.  Before Christmas and Christmas  These ones are from before Christmas when we were stuck inside because of the snow storm we were in while there.

I call her Santa's helper.  She is trying to help herself to the Christmas goodies that Santa has, but he's not giving them up.

Hannah's first experience with snow.  She likes it.  She had her first taste of snow and she wanted to eat more.  That's our girl!
Here we are in our Christmas outfits just back from church.  We almost didn't make it with the snow that was coming down.
Here we are getting a little air from being stuck inside for too long
Hannah loves her Papa. They laughed and played.
Cousin Lucy loved playing with Hannah.  SHe watched over her, brought her toys and even took toys back from her younger brother when he would steal them away from her.

Here is a genuine hand crafted  from what was east Germany, from the town my mom was born in.  This one was brought back by my mom when she went to visit the town.
We went to the Bellevue Botanical gardens and boy was it chilly.  We were really cold, but loved the lights.  Hannah enjoyed them, but we bundled her up so she would be able to.

Hannah Great grandma ( her Gross Oma) played with her and loved her to bits
Hannah had her own seat on the plane on the way up to WA.  Actually she spent most of her time sleeping.
I loved the shadow the sun makes
