Sorry we have been MIA on the blog scene. I bet all of you that have been checking our blog are frustrated to see that no changes have been made for a month and a half. Sorry about that. We had some problems getting our phone and internet connected once we moved. It took 2 weeks to get the phone connected and turned on. Then it was turned on, but the connection wasn't coming through. So we waited another week for a serviceman to come out. Now here we are, connected. It's amazing how much you can get done when you can't spend time on the computer scouring the internet as Paris does. I missed all my friends and checking in to their blogs to see what has been happening. When I finally logged into my email after 3 weeks of not checking it, I had 201 emails.

New place, new design
Back to the MIA story. It all started when we decided to move out of our basement apartment and into a snazzy new apartment in Alameda. It is twice as big and with 3 bedrooms and a large kitchen, not to mention a great living room we had to grab it. We are happy here and are finding Alameda to be a great little community. Everyone is nice and helpful. There are some great parks and the water is so close, it's nice to have everything in such a close proximity. Stay tune for some pictures of our place.
I have to say that giving Hannah her own room has been such a great step for her. SHe is falling asleep on her own and she has room to roll around and practice crawling. SHe is almost there and we are excited for her next step. We have our own room, finally and it is such a nice thing to have. Not to mention that we have time alone, which we all need. Thanks for staying in touch and pictures will come very soon!

Jas and I lived in Alameda for a few months before we moved to Berkeley.
We LOVE Alameda. It's warmer, less crowded, and has some great places to eat. I use to jog/walk everyday along the ocean walk way. (within walking distance from my house!)
Alameda has the best sushi, gelato, and chinese that we've had since living here. And the Alameda beaches are beautiful and SO CLOSE!
And the school districts are top rated. We love the Natural Market on Park St. too. (also within walking distance for us) I could go on and on.
Congrats Leslie! Everyone having their own room is so great!
Oh I can't wait for our turn! Your place looks great. You will still be coming to our ward, right?
