It was great to have most of the Humphrey's out for Dim Sum. It was a great place in Alameda called East Ocean on Webster.
This was Hannah's first experience with Dim Sum and she seem to like it! ( not the food, but the company) When we walked into the restaurant, everyone at our table cheered for us even though we were 30 minutes late. Papa Humphrey and John hadn't seen Hannah except for pictures and Oma was thrilled to see her again.
Hannah got all dressed up and ready to see the Humphrey side her of relatives. She took a nap in the car so by the time we got to the restaurant, she was ready for action.
I loved seeing John's face when he ate this round desert that is filled with a red sweet paste. The texture is very squishy, not to my taste at all. I think Emmons like to pull a fast one and see people's reactions when they eat this dessert.
