3 Year Anniversary!

It seems fitting that our trip to Pier 39 was inspired by our 3rd Anniversary on the 19th of August.  We are 3 now and we celebrated our 3rd Anniversary. I love you sweetheart. It's been fun, but stressful at times.  We definetly learned how to pack up and move. I think we have become experts in a way.  We've had laughs, arguments and seen new and interesting places.  Now we are here to raise our cute family and do the best job we can at being the kind of parents we said we were going to be.

After Hannah's morning nap and some house cleaning we went by way of BART to San Francisco.

Here we are sitting on the BART.  HAnnah did well (as she usually does.  I love that girl so much)  She loved seeing and staring at all the different people getting on and off the Fremont train we took.
We had to get a picture of daddy holding Hannah.  This is an official BART picture with the map in the background.  Paris likes things official.

I brough along one of Hannah's favorite books to read while we traveled on BART. I also nursed her while we went under water and through the bay to get to SF.  While we were under the bay, the train stopped and we were left waiting under all that water.  Kinda of a scary thought.

We made it to Pier 39 and took the F line bus to the Ferry building and then walked the rest of the way.  We got fish and chips at this great place we had to get a picture  of it.

Here they are.  I love this stuff.  We actually got Calamari and chips.  I think Hannah is as excited as I am in eating them.
I think she had a good time as well.  She saw all sorts of new people, places and sparkly things.

Aren't these funny!  I love quirky things like this.  I would never buy them, but they are fun to look at!
Here we are at the end of the Pier.  Alcatraz is behind us, if you look really close.  Boy, it was super windy!

Here we are to finish our trip  off with a picture in front of Hard Rock Cafe.  It's so fun to tour the gift shop and see all the nick nacks.  By this time, Hannah was fast asleep in mommy's arms. We then caught the F line bus which was packed. I was going to have to stand up while holding her, but a great family we met while waiting in line, scouted out a seat for me and made sure I sat down.  The wife had recently joined the church with her daughter while her husband was re-activated in the process.   They were fun to talk to. All in all, it was a great trip and fun to get out from our everyday grind to enjoy this beautiful area that we live in.
